Head Teacher's Welcome

Whyteleafe is a high achieving, happy, vibrant and forward thinking school in which children excel themselves, both academically and socially. Our eager children have a real thirst for learning and our excellent staff team are committed and dedicated in ensuring that each and every child achieves. We have high standards and expect the best.

Our vision is 'Aim High. Be independent and enjoy yourself' and underpinning this are our core beliefs that every child should leave us: literate and numerate, with a love for learning and with excellent social skills.

Our values are embedded within the school.  The 5 Sapphires encourage our children to be Respectful, Responsible, Kind, Self Controlled and Honest.  Children who display these values are rewarded with a sapphire tie which they wear for that week.

Whilst our website will give you a flavour of what makes Whyteleafe a great school, we highly recommend coming to visit us so that you can see us and our children in action.

These are some of the comments we received after our school tours for Reception 2017 intake:-

We were extremely impressed by this school when attending a recent open day. We found the facilities available and overall attitude of the staff to be excellent. The behaviour of the children attending this school on the day we visited was also exceptional. I would be delighted to send my child to such a well organised and well run school.

My husband and I believe in the ethos of the school and we would feel very privileged to be able to send our child here.

Loved the headmaster and his priorities for the school.

The school has fantastic facilities and takes an excellent approach to promote personal development, not to mention the wide range of ethnic diversity.

My visit to the school was met with confident students and an array of extracurricular facilities and programs which I believe are core to an all rounded education.

I look forward to meeting you when you visit Whyteleafe.
