Shoe collection

On the last day of term, a total of 318 pairs of shoes were collected for Sal's shoes charity which is a wonderful achievement and will contribute to countries worldwide where 300 million children have to walk barefooted, which makes them susceptible to parasite infections, especially hookworm and ulcers and due to this are not permitted to attend school.  So, once again a big thank you to the Whyteleafe Community as this will give the children hope and comfort and an opportunity to start their education.

A special thanks must go to one of our parents Jacqui Barrett and her husband, with their support we were able to transport the shoes to Redhill direct to the charity.

Also the PTA will be donating £148 from the profit of the ice cream sales on Friday to Sal's shoes!
