We've been very impressed with the work submitted by Year 6 students so far. Don't forget there's a 'Year 7 Taster Task' to be found for every subject via our Google Classroom!

School Closure Updates

Dear Parents/ Carers,

I am writing to let you know we have been instructed to close the school to almost all children at the end of the school day tomorrow, Friday 20th March, until further notice.  As advised by the government, we will do all we can to stay open for the children of key workers (e.g. NHS staff, police and others in frontline services) and some of our vulnerable children.  We are waiting for the government to publish more information on what this means and we will be in touch again as soon as we are sure who this applies to. In the meantime, if you have not done so already, please email as soon as possible if you are a ‘key worker’ and will rely on educational provision in order to keep working.  All other children will need to stay at home, so we ask that you do not send your child to school from Monday 23rd March.

Attached is a letter from Jon Chaloner, GLFs CEO. The letter has gone to all GLF schools.

All assessments in primary school, including end of Key Stage 1 assessments in Year 2 and end of Key Stage 2 assessments in Year 6, phonics screening checks in Year 1 and multiplication tables checks in Year 4 will be cancelled.
