Raising money for Polio

On Friday February 10th we raised money for Polio by having a mufti day with a purple theme.  Each member of the school council had shown their class a powerpoint informing them of Polio and what can be do to help eradicate this disease. The staff and children were really enthusiastic and there were some fabulous purple outfits.

The school council helped to count the money in their lunch hour and were so proud to have raised £402 in total.  This means that 3,200 vaccines can now be given to children in the countries affected by this disease.

This was another fabulous effort from the whole Whyteleafe School community, thank you to everyone for their support.
