Last year - Summer Holiday Club 2016

We come to the end of our first week of the WASPS summer holiday club, most days were fully booked with children from Whyteleafe school. We have enjoyed playing in Mario kart and Fifa and super smash rows the Game wagon, had a swim and rode our bikes and scooters on Tuesday, took part in a sports day with throwing, running tug of war and silly sports. During outdoor day on Thursday we had the chance to make a willow star, fish, snake, snail or bird feeder and enjoyed a toasted marshmallow.

The last day this week was Circus day with a visiting specialist teaching us how to juggle, use stilts, dance with ribbons, spin plates and balance feathers.

We've come to the end of our 2nd week at wasps summer holiday club, this week the children have been entertained on science day by making sherbet, slime and Coca-Cola rockets

It rained most of the day on forest school day however that didn't stop the super resilient staff from giving the children the opportunity to make paracord bracelets, whittle butter knives, toast marshmallows and make smores, build dens, climb trees and make medals from hazel.

Wednesday was swimming day and all children had a swim in the school pool and did some amazing crafts.

On Thursday the staff and children took the train to Croydon to visit the museum and Friday was face paint and bath bomb day.

Week 3 at holiday club and on Monday we had a pamper day where we wnjoyed nail art, crazy hair and tattoos. Tuesday we had a giant slide and bouncy castle to play on. Wednesday was a craft day and we decorated funky spoons followed by making yummy chocolate spoons and face cakes on Thursday. Friday we spent the day at the park enjoying different activities and playing.
